The Edo BEST Grand Opening in public schools was greeted with excitement and huge acceptance by parents, guardians and community members who trooped out in large numbers to participate in the Grand Opening exercise.
They all welcome the innovative practical approach of community participation as it affords them the opportunity to become enlightened on the workings of the Edo BEST Initiative. They are intimated on the function and use of the smartphones and computer tablets. They are able to view and assess the various textbooks used by their children, taken on classrooms tour and enlightened on other useful, potent and veritable teaching and learning tools.
The Edo BEST Initiative is a unique education model. For the first time in the history of the State, parents, guardians and the community at large now play visible and active roles in neighbourhood watch of public schools as well as in the teaching, learning, and assessment processes of the education system.
Edo BEST provides quality education for every child.
