A high-level Delegation from Rwanda will grace the State with their presence for a two-day interactive session with Edo SUBEB officials, teachers, administrators and staff.
The event is set to culminate in an interactive session between the Delegates and SUBEB. This will afford members of SUBEB the opportunity to learn about the Rwandan genocide, its attendant effects and the resulting educational reforms which have helped ameliorate and elevate the Rwandan nation years after the crippling experience.
It would also be an opportunity to enlighten the Rwandan Delegates of the enormous progress made so far in the basic education sub-sector resulting from the Edo Basic Education Sector Transformation (Edo BEST); a transformation initiative birthed by the Governor Godwin Obaseki administration.
The Executive Chairman of Edo SUBEB, Dr. Joan Osa Oviawe, in an interview session, stated that the visit by the Rwandan delegation is a great opportunity to share best practices in the basic education subsector. She opined that it would afford teachers under the auspices of Edo SUBEB the opportunity to interact and learn about Rwanda.
