Edo SUBEB commences general clean School campaign in public primary Schools accross the 18 local Government areas of Edo State

The exercise was flagged off by Chairman,Edo State Universal Basic Education Board,Dr.Joan Osa Oviawe.The board chairman was represented by Pst.Mrs Caroline Aikorogie, SSA on Basic Education.

Speaking during the exercise, Mrs Aikorogie noted that Governor Godwin Obaseki achievements in basic Education is visible across the state, stressing that emphasis is now on clean school environment that will improve the academic performance of pupils in public primary Schools. According to her “we are flagging off this exercise in response to Governor Godwin Obaseki clean environment initiative which uphold the tenents of environmental sustainability to make public primary Schools accross the state conducive for learning and improve the academic performance of pupils in public primary Schools.

The cleaning exercise was carried out simultaneously in public primary Schools across the state.The board members, SUBEB staff and Education managers monitored the exercise to effect strict compliance
