The World Book day was celebrated across every Public Primary School in Edo State on the 4th of March, 2021.
Lessons on social studies were dedicated to the day, to teach the children about reading culture. The same lessons were taught across the various schools, at the same time. The children were taught the importance of reading and how to see reading as a pleasure.
This is to transform the children into leaders through the love of books. Just as the saying goes “readers are leaders”.
Reading for pleasure is the single biggest indicator of a Child’s future success.
