In commemoration of World Teachers’ Day, SUBEB recognized 20 outstanding teachers and HMs across the state for their excellent performances during Edo BEST@Home online and offline learning. Each awardee also received a 40-inch TV. Mr. Governor gave an Executive Waiver for employment under the Edo Star Teaching Fellows Programme and 1million to a NPower teacher from Esan North East for her dedication to service when she continued to teach without pay during the Covid-19 partial lockdown even after her batch of the N-power programme had ended.
